Why Intelligence Belongs to Everyone (and How You Can Start Today)

In today's society, we are hit with so much information every day, like fake news, AI-generated content, phishing emails, and they look so real, it's very hard to tell the difference. This situation can be very frustrating and invasive, and it leaves people feeling defeated!

Most people just throw up their hands in hope nothing happens to them, but here's the truth: you can take control. You don't need to be a hacker or some fancy worker to learn these skills; you just need one thing.

Patience.

Why do people need intel?

For decades, we have thought about spies or hackers having access to "intel," and we, as regular people, were left out, but that's not true anymore.

The internet has changed everything, and we have access to the same tools that spies, hackers, and journalists have, and it's almost free or very affordable, so today we can arm ourselves with the same knowledge and equipment.

That is why I started Everyone's Intel, so we can close the gap and allow everyone to know how to use Open Source Intelligence skills and give power back to the average person.

Intelligence isn't about hackers and world problems; it's about knowledge and using it to protect yourself and your loved ones.

OSINT skills you can learn today

  1. Reverse Image searching
    1. Take that photo, upload it to Google Images or TinEye.
    2. You’ll often find the same image tied to stock photos or scam accounts.
  2. Check links before you click
    1. Hover over a link before you click.
    2. On mobile, press and hold to preview the URL.
    3. Not sure? Drop it into VirusTotal to scan it safely.
That “Netflix account locked” email? Probably a trick. Now you’ll know..
  3. Profile consistency check
    1. Photos that don’t match the timeline.
    2. Job history that jumps around without dates.
    3. Bios full of generic buzzwords.
    4. A real person leaves digital fingerprints. A fake account usually leaves holes.

We will teach full lessons about these subjects soon!

OSINT is digital self-defense

Remember when someone got bullied in school, then they took karate or wrestling, and then they were never messed with again? We can look at OSINT the same way!

  1. We can protect ourselves and our family
  2. Makes you more aware of what's real and fake
  3. Improves critical thinking.

You don't need to be a black belt, just need some basic skills to make you stronger.
